Yesterday was Tuesday, right? But today is Tuesday too!

The fact we STILL reblog these posts every Tuesday five seasons later should be convincing enough to bring Gabriel back already

MERLIN & ARTHUR | VICTORIAN AU

Having just written and published his first successful novel, Merlin Emrys is a newcomer to the world of 19th century London socialites. Some enthusiastically welcome his creativity and artistry to the elaborate dinners and parties of the elite; others are not so accepting. Arthur Pendragon, heir to the old fortune of Camelot Railway & Co., does not appreciate Merlin’s sudden appearance, his decidedly loose morals, or his quick-witted tongue. That is, until he unknowingly reads (and adores) Merlin’s novel. When he discovers the pen name on the cover of his new favorite book belongs to none other than Merlin, Arthur decides to take another look at the vibrant young man whose words are even more shocking than his clothes.

I thought they both knew this…  I mean, you know, with Sam being affected in ways that he could not be healed, and it being stressed to them that there was no coming back once they’d set out on this path…  I mean, I just feel there is no way that Dean seriously thought Sam would be walking away from this all better and ready to go riding rainbows and picking flowers.  The way Sam reacts to the news, I feel like he pretty much assumed he was dying too.  Then when Dean tells him to stop, he’ll die, Sam is just like… yeah, and…?

Whoo!  These three were one of the coolest Team TARDIS groups ever!

I love how his comeback to “You’re a girl” is “That’s already been established.”

SHIT. What is this?!?!??!

Okay, this show has been yo-yo-ing all over the place this season, and they emphasised how dead and buried the Ted and Robin thing was, but now what is this?  What is happening?  Like…  Ted is the sweetest thing in the world, and my favourite character, but hasn’t the show thrown this relationship away “for good” like a hundred times now?
Though now that I think about it, HIMYM has another season now.  This season was originally going to be the last one, but now they’re going to stretch it out another year.  Does that mean this is just some filler interplay to give us an excuse for some drama and conflict that they can use to pass time until the end?
I hope that’s wrong, and the writers have a point to all this craziness.
Then again, maybe the point is the exact opposite?  Robin is having doubts about marrying Barney, and she’s seeing signs in the universe in support of these doubts.  Ted talks her down, discounting the signs and telling her she’s engaged to Barney for a reason, and she knows that deep down.  A long time ago, Ted “made it rain” so he could go out with Robin, but now he’s dismissing the rain as nothing more than rain.  This realistic Ted could be indicative of his growth away from the idealistic attaching-meaning-to-everything Ted, and it could also be showing that he’s dismissing all the supposed signs from the universe that fuelled his romantic notions of being with Robin…
So…  This is either closure or revival of old attachments…  What Ted is actually saying seems to be leaning toward closure, but the implications of his final line seem to be to revival.  The final line stood out the most to me, and so my initial impression was revival.  But now that I look at it again, it could really go either way…
